Just started my 383 project. It should be a Beast.
Just got my headers back from Jet-Hot and you can see the Milodon oil pan in the background.
I knew I ha... Show mored to do somemore porting on the exhaust ports after tearing down the motor.
One more pic of the head after its been decked for flatness. My machinest only took off .002 to get it flat. I need that head to be flat for a true seal to the block when it gets out of shop.
Just got the motor back, but I had to reuse the stock windage tray bolts in place of the ARP studes to use the windage tray.
Installed the cam, the 2 piece timing cover, and ATI balancer.
Then the Water pump.
Miledon oilpan looks nice.
Those pistons look awesome too!!
Lifters are in. And not those crappie Com-R's. That's why I have a Rev-Kit, to control valve float even though I have the right springs to support .600 lift.
The Rev-Kit was next to go in.
I was burning the mid-night oil, so I had to drop it in and I did it by myself.
I changed the factory hard tranny lines for AN-6 Braided lines, turned out pretty good.
Almost done on day 2. Notice the drill in the back ground. I think it looks nice finally back home between the fenders. Show Less
