I bought my Mazda in June, drove off the lot with 10 miles.
First thing done is I ordered some blue LED's for the map and dome lights.
It is actu... Show moreally more bright than it looks, those pics were taken with my camera phone.
Next, I shaved the door moldings and 3 emblem from the trunk.
So far, I have done the throttle body ground and bypass mods.
Also, here is my nifty license plate cover.
Finally installed some LED lights in my footwells. They aren't as bright as I was hoping (they are the wal mart $10 apiece lights) but they work. The one on the drivers side, I was driving at the time, so half of the picture is of my legs and feet.
Installed my speakers in the doors. Sony Xplod 6.5" 250W coaxials. Over the next few days, I am installing a Sony Xplod 600 X 4 amp under the passenger seat to power these speakers slightly more than my factory radio can. I am considering adding some subs in the trunk, but if I do I will not be putting big or many, I don't need that much bass.
Next is openmouth grille, painting under hood covers, pedal covers, and interior trim. Also thinking of putting some speakers in the nav panel. Gotta go bit by bit, I have a three month old daughter that is my primary responsibility currently lol. Keeping the factory radio, I like the lights and the look.
Future plans as money comes by are short throw shifter, sunroof/moonroof, window tint, sharkfin antenna, fog lights, factory spoiler, and possibly some angel eyes.
Very future mods include a Hiboost turbo kit, drop, dual exhaust, and everything else fancy. Just not feeling losing my 100,000 mile warranty.
My future paint job, either this or the black and blue swapped. I like the idea of a blue car with black second color more than it is now lol. Blue will be a little darker shade, but thats the general idea. Show Less
