Ive finally decided what color i want to paint the car. started doing the prep work about a week ago, started by removing all the trim, and bondoing what nee... Show moreded it. and heeeres the pics. Enjoy!
Had to fill in the spots where the factory spoiler bolted to the hatch.
decided to shave off the antenna, doesnt work anyway, nor does the stereo and when i re-do the sound system i dont plan on listening to the raidio anyway.
I personally have NEVER used windshield washer fluid, plus its something else that i dont have to worry about either masking off, or re-attaching.
two of the colors that i bought to try out, the car will be the metallic burgundy. should come out pretty sweet.
THESE dont come off too easily, so i discovered, on top of that, the trim that runs vertically is also the track for the power window.
this is what that piece of trim looks like from the inside
this is one problem area that i must address before i can do final paint, the car was in a front end collision before i bought it, so the hood is already aligned as best as it can be
and this is the problem with the passenger side light, its still the same cover from when the car got in a wreck originally, so its bent a bit out of shape, thus why it sticks up here...
