OLD INSTALL PICTURES
Here is a trunk pic. The subs are Audiomobile MASS2010. I built the box myself but had it pro wrapped in viynl. The box is sealed and d... Show moreivided up into two chambers with 1.6 cubic feet of airspace each side with a pair of subs in each. The box is made of 3/4" MDF (what else would you make a box out off?) You better not say plywood! I decided not to go with polyfill but I did use eggcrate padding on all sides of the box and used Dynamat on all the inside walls. I think that eggcrate is a effective way of getting rid of standing waves (ie: muddy bass) if you don't need to increase airspace by using pollyfill. I have to say for the price of these subs and the performance\features they have I don't understand how most other subs manufacturers stay in business! I mean most subs don't even come close! I running a MMAts D200HC amp so each sub is getting 300W RMS Although I don't have SPL numbers yet it much louder then at least my ears can handle and it's clean bass!
This is what the inside of the box looks like. Some people were asking what I ment by eggcrate. That is the blue looking stuff.
Here are the rear comps. They are 6.5" Diamond Audio motorsport series. w/ 1" silk dome tweeters. The factory speakers were 6.5" uhhmm.. garbage! So I wanted to go with some comps in the back. I made some simple MDF mounts and the factory grills still fit. There in there solid too.
These are my Tube drivers mounted in a false floor in the spare tire well, my sub box had gas shocks to lift the sub box up to show the tube amp under it. Also you might be able to see one of my three 1 Farad caps a Brax "supercap" but there really is nothing "super" about the cap just your standard 1 farad.
Blue neon is wraped on three sides I love the look of neon... Show Less
The blue graphic is a decal (many people think it is paint at first) I think that body graphics like this are a awesome way to go as apposed to custom paint.... Show more Think about it, its a lot cheaper than paint and after a while if you want a new look you take it off and put a new one one! How cool is that!!
The tails are from APC. Blue colored Alteeza style. It seems that the chrome alteeza's today are a dime a dozen anymore so I wanted something different. One word of caution about APC's products. There quality is terrible. I know they make cool stuff but chances are when you get a product it will not fit right and have defects in it.
The piller gauges give you a hint that there is a little something extra to this integra!
I love the piller gauges (auto meter) and the white face gauges (APC) they are also indiglo which is definitely a trick look when there on. The head unit is my old one its a Pioneer DEX-P1R it had sooo many tweaking options. Time alignment, 12-band EQ, built in x-overs, and a Auto EQ option. I now use a Alpine CDA-7878 Show Less
