a temprary fix i've .. been inclined to use was to jsut clear coat it,, and reseal the flakes,, but that jsut made it ugly paint job, i've decided to go to advance auto to pick up sme sandign equipment and gonna start doing her new skin layer by layer, and make it fully even.
wish me luck on this one,, i've elected to go with a two tone coloring, useing ford S9 deep jewel green for its golden flake in green paint,, to give her a more rich feeling in combination to a metalic dark green like her stock color but less blue flake in it. blue on green is an ugly color combonation imo Show Less

Show moreou coudl take the engine half appart and it's still run, was a teeny tinny beastly machine of a mini truck. seriously i'm gonna miss her bad.these trucks had some REALLY nice interiors, as well as handling a bit bumpy but you coudl feel the road trough the pedal if you payed attention, Cricket was named because at te time we'd recieved it form a dealer,, it was a high polished-yet worn black, and there was this funny constant clicking, as you drove it, after 6 years of having the truck in the family,, and my first year of owning it, turns out the single overhead cam wasn't tightend down and secured well, and the valve had been shut tight, and kept forcign the cam to hop up creating the clickign sound, eventualy turnign in to a moment the timing belt woudl be chewed up. after a terminal failure, and all woudla been fixed by a deadstop hammer to the right valve stem and a ratchet, eventualy after another 4 moths afterwards an oil change deemed fit by miself was its end as i'd stuck in 5 quarts in to a 3 quart capacity area, and forced it over the edge, pushign the gasket out with out any hope fo reassembaly,Definetly gonna miss that truck.
