Custom Trunk Lip Spoiler:
Euro Folding Mirrors
As more E38's have become affordable, I've noticed more silver I's and IL's on the road. The trunk lip spoiler was just one piece to keep the unique look of Titaniumseeker apsrt from all those other like colored E38's. I opted for the Euro folding mirror mod. Here are pictures of the parts required:
The parts are plug and play and the install is very simple.
Now installed, a new look for Titaniumseeker!:
AC Schnitzer Pedals:
This one of those easy no-brainer mods that took all of 35 minutes to complete. I purchased the carbon fiber overlay and the chrome guage rings off of Ebay. .
All rings and overlay installed in cluster.
Here is a close shot of the rings and overlay installed .
Now a full view of the guage cluster back in the vehicle
SMG Paddle Shift Steering Wheel:
Here are some pics of the SMG wheel before and installed. It took me three hours (Normal time is 2hrs) to install mostly due to the other wiring I decided to do along with this mod. Since I had the center console apart I took the opportunity to run the wires for my Soundgate and Angel Eyes switches which will be located in the center ash tray. More on those mods later. Now to answer the main question: Yes, all of the buttons on the steering wheel are fully functional including the paddle shifts which are engaged when the shifter is placed in Sport mode. You can still use the shifter to shift manual gears but why would you? That's what the paddles are for. I found the shifting between gears to be just a little smoother and faster and that is also the opinion of many who have driven her before and after this mod.
Carbon Fiber Shifter:
One of the easier and fastest mods. Took less than five minutes to install. Show Less
