Hey everyone! This is our all-original green and white 1956 Chevrolet with an inline V6. It is very special to me because it was my great aunt Made... Show morelyn's car. She bought it new off the showroom floor in 1956, and had it up until about a year before she passed away. It has 73,000 miles on it because she only drove it around town. It was kept under an overhang every day of its life until we bought it. My family was fortunate enough to purchase it from her before she passed away with the intention of performing a complete restoration on it and keeping everything original, including the dealership emblem. It's been "in-progress" for quite some time, but it will probably be finished within the year. We're kind of restoring it without many people knowing about it so it can be a surprise to the rest of our family, especially my grandmother (Aunt Madelyn's sister) and cousin (Aunt Madelyn's daughter). Hopefully it will be finished sooner rather than later! Show Less
Notice the other green and white 1956 Chevy in the background... that's the one I'm referring to at the bottom of Page 1. It's going to be all ... Show moreoriginal, and I can't wait until it's completely restored.
Now for some pictures of this '56 and my 2003 Ford Mustang. These pictures were taken before a car show my family and I organized for The Victory Junction Gang Camp. The name of the car show was The Will to Win Cruise-In, and we raised over $10,000 for the camp in 3 shows. Show Less
