Here is a very nice car that I bought as her second owner. The original owner walked into the Chevy dealership in Hawaii and fell in love with her Canyon Cor... In the late 90s he commissioned a "frame up" restoration where her somewhat tired 283 was replaced with a mid-60s 327 Vette engine. She has the Vette big valve heads with Edelbrock cam, intake and carb.
When I bought her, she was somewhat limited as a cruiser due to a 4:11 posi. (she was turning 3,000 at 65) so we added a 700r4 onerdrive transmission. Now we are at 2200. The 4:11 makes her very spirted. I also added front disks and a vacuum pump for better brake feel as well as a modern power steering box. She originally was an air conditioned car which was replaced with a antique unit during the restoration. Show Less

There's lots of added chrome such as the bumper brackets, interior window frames and Cragar wheels.
The car is all steel and had a body off restoration a few years ago. The underbody has been Lizard Skined, for heat and sound protection, and the Cobalt Blue paint along with Sky blue pinstriping and Violet theme colors are carried through the interior leathette and even the engine compartment. It also has a JVC sound system with 10 CD player. A great show/cruise combination.
My wife named her "ROXIE" for the lead of Chicago,Roxie Hart. We say you can't drive Roxie without smiling! Show Less
