"No More Mr. Nice Guy"
My small way of honoring The first guy to inspire me A Gasser genius named Anthony, I was a kid back then in the early sixti... Show morees, growing up in Chicago on the South side of town, but I remeber bugging "Ant"(resp)about this beautiful 55 Chevy Gasser he had in the garage on 74th & Champlain, I did find later years out that He was one of a few at the time Black American's who did race at US50 I beleive, have'nt seen him in many years, but I'll never forget that car all primered up and what no glaring bumer here, just a steel pipe welded with such gentle care, and that sound not your daddy's car, then has I grew my passion also grew with it, I had a 56 Olds super88, sold it while working has a mech at the (MTC) Saint Paul's bus operation.
I also want to honor those of another passion in this Art:
Mr. Rat Fink, Indian Larry, OCC, Mr. Billy Lane, the list could go on so her's what I have: a 350 motor/tranny all rebuilt several years ago, street cams, been wanting to add a noisy gear drive since I can't afford a supercharger has of yet, the interior has been also redone with buckets up front, no sissy stuff like belts and no disc brake upgrages, rides on original frame, has lift kit front & rear with air on reas and raceing fuel cell.
"come down to Saint Paul each year and check out "Back to the Fifties", and "Good-guys" events. I also am a member of "Capitol city Classic's" Show Less
