I needed the wheels and tires when I seen the car it had not been touched 100% complete. Insurace company totaled it because it was submerged at the Navy base Pensacola. I made the junk man an offer for the whole car $1300 cash.My father was still in the hospital when I told him the good news. I started on it as soon as I got home. My plan was to remove as much weight as possible without compromising strength and the stock app. as stated in the NHRA rule book. I replaced the old V6 and 5 speed with a all roller 12.5:1 468 ci and turbo 350 with 8in 3800 stall converter. This motor was the first I had ever built, it was run for 1/2 season in 1994, but lost oil pressure and had been taking up space for ten years. I replaced all the glass with 1/8 in. lexan, I welded in a used 8 point roll cage out of a mustang, I added an aluminum fuel cell and relocated batteries to the rear. Show Less
