so in the past year my car decided to blow a headgasket. so with it having 115,000 miles i decided to rebuild it. well i am happy to annouce that i just got ... Show morethe new turbo, its off a '05 WRX with a thousand miles on it, and i will be running 12.5psi. I just got hollowed out my downpipe. I hollowed out my 2nd CAT. I got my new OEM gasket set, Rings, main and rod bearings, and exhaust gaskets. Also i just took off my top mount wrx intercooler. and i bought a front mount intercooler with all new piping. I also did my own port and polishing on the exhast ports and manifold. I ported and gasket matched the intake maifold to the intake ports. I also enlarged the throttle body to intake manifold, included in all this is also the knife edged butterfly valve. I am debating whether to a 3 angle valve gring or not.
Well the motor, lasted not so long. only because i think i reused the head bolts. which was not a good idea. so when i pulled the motor for the second time, i decided to put in some 20G DOHC heads. Which droppped my compression ratio. Not much but a little bit. it still pulls hard. even harder than it did with the SOHC's. i am running anywhere from 12 to 17 psi. and for some reason my car is not cutting fuel. so i dont need to put on a fcd yet. but fuel management is gonna be on soon. ill have more updates soon. either way its fast.
who knows. i am expecting to push out 200hp at the wheels and 220tq at the wheels. and hopfully get my qt just under 14 sec. But this car is not meant for dragging it meant for rallying. BOOYA. any questions? Show Less
