1884 Dodge D-100 Pick Up
I purchased this truck brand new in January of 1984. It was sitting in the middle of the showroom floor when I saw it. I had to wa... Show moreit for a few days to take delivery of it because several cars had to be moved out before it could come outof the showroom. The Air conditioning was a dealer install but everything else was factory. I had the dealer exchange the stock chrome bumper for a step bumper as well.
The Canyon Red was only available on 2 tone trucks
This is a Custom 100 and for 1984, this was almost a fully loaded truck. The only things it does not have that were available are power locks and windows, cruise control and upgraded interior upholstery/door panels.
The power plant is a 318 2 barrel carburated engine. It has the spark advance computer that I swapped out for electronic ignition in 2001 because the computer modules available are remanufactured and were not reliable.
As it sits, this truck has over 310,000 miles on it. I had to put in a short block at 200,000 miles. Other than that, everything is still factory except for brakes and tires.
This truck is truely "RAM TOUGH"!! Show Less
