After a year of driving on the TSLs and beadlocks, I decided it was time for some new tires. I didn't like the huge gap in the fenders with the 32s, the... Show more TSLs and beadlocks rode like crap on the road.
The solution was to sell them and buy some larger tires. I was thinking of going with 33x12.50x15s but a buddy of mine that works at 4wheelparts convinced me to go with some 36x13.50x15 Super Swamper Iroks on 15x8 wheels.
I thought he was insane...a Tracker on 36s?!
On second thought...LET'S DO IT!
So, $879 later, the tires arrived...

With all four tires installed it was clear that I'd need to do some work to make the tires fit while the truck twists.
We whipped out the car ramps and stuck them under opposite corners to work the suspension a bit in the driveway. This was to give us an idea of how much fender and floorboard trimming would be required to allow the suspension to fully cycle, and still have room for the 36 to turn.
With the suspension twisted up I noticed that I'd need to lop off part of the tailpipe to keep the tire from rubbing on it.
