Installed the TRD FSTB and WOW! What a difference in the handling in this convertible! I've heard so many folks claim this was merely cosmetic, bu... Show moret I gotta tell ya it was as big a difference as the RSB upgrade!
The original FSTB was just rolled sheet metal so I have no idea if it served much purpose due to the twisting and flexing, but this one is solid steel (powder-coated red). Now I need to get the suspension worked on and get those rims! ;)
I finally got the TRD RSB yesterday (why did I wait so long??!!) - installed it in about an hour and what a difference in handling! Woo-hoo! :)
Notice the difference between the TRD (Red) and OEM (Black) RSBs:
TRD RSB Installed (Red painted calipers shown as well):
I broke down and got an Injen Intake - was on the fence about which one to get and figured that until CP-e has one for my year (and CARB legal) then I might as well go with a known brand. I'm really happy with the result in both sound and performance. Seems to have really helped the hesitation issue quite a bit - but there's still that slushy transmission to deal with. Ugh...
FINALLY! Got my Windscreen that has been back-ordered since I bought my car in Jan! It was a beotch to install but I'm really happy with the results!
Detail of the bracket:
Noise and wind reduced tremendously with the windows rolled up and the Windscreen in place! :)
Installed the Mud Guards today and painted my calipers red. Pics below:
Now I can't wait to get the suspension work done!! :D Show Less
