Now I know some people think it's overrated but here's the thing...it's fully rebuilt with Type-R internals: pistons, cams, plenty of head work including a mill job. But here's the down side: the difference between my 93 Civic chassis vs. the new GSR/ITR motor; the car is hydraulic and the new tranny is cable. A simple call to Hasport fixed that for a conversion. A hydro tranny is what I'll want to use as a replacment in the future but this works for now. As the old motor is being discarded for big brother, I take time to swap around some minor parts here and there ensuring I have everything for the drop. Below is the Hasport shift linkage. Show Less
I left the wiring harness intact and here's a pic of the old engine sitting by its lonesome.
Threw in a Fidanza 5.4 cluth set...yes it's an unsprung clutch! Grip force is powerful
