Shortly after I got the car, I decided to upgrade the wheels (from Audi's 15" Speedline's to 17" TSW) and also got rid of the USA-spec headlamps (with amber ... Show moreside-marker) and replaced it with Euro-spec headlamps that have clear sidemarkers. Quite a visual improvement! The photo below is a different angle from the one I showed earlier...

I had tried selling it, but after dealing with 3 idiotic ebay buyers that didn't read the description (oh, I didn't realize the car was in Texas and needs to be towed), didn't know what "buy it now" meant or backed out immediately after buying it (and then me having to ask ebay for a refund of my selling fees..), I decided to simply call a dismantler and have it towed away (and I got to the keep the Ronal wheels and tires, which were worth about what I was asking for the entire car!).
Of all cars that I've owned in the past 40 years, this one I had the longest, almost 14 years!
This car had the 2nd highest mileage known (358,000 miles / 5786,000 kilometers) here in the USA ... It's now being dismantled at a car dismantler facility in Nevada, Texas in case someone needs parts....
The US-spec headlamps have terrible light dispersion and also have amber sidemarkers. The Euro-spec headlamps have a much better beam and also clear side... Show moremarkers (that improves on the look of the car!).
Decided that the car would look a bit better with 17" wheels (compared to the stock 15" wheels that were getting a bit corroded)
So I now own not just one of the highest mileage 1990 Audi's (341,000 miles on my 100 model), I now own one of the lowest mileage known 1990 Audi's. It only... Show more had 65,760 miles on it when I picked it up in Milwaukee in mid-June 2014 and drove it back to Dallas.
