This is a site to give a little tribute to my 1986 331 GT. I've had the car since October 1999 and have loved it ever since the test drive.... Show more This car was purchased after i realized that my '85 Trans Am couldnt keep up with the blue ovals.
The mods include: 331 stroker motor, Vic Jr heads, Trickflow R intake, Jay Allen custom Cam, BBK 1 3/4 Longtubes, BBK X pipe with flowmasters, MSD 6al, monster tach, 80mm mass air meter, 75mm BBK throttle body, hurst short shifter and some other goodies. Mild suspension work just of yet.
A pic of the revamped motor.
(Looks much better if you enlarge it!)
Special thanks to Rick Hawver (RNH Performance) for reworking my motor and all the GOOD advice I got off guys from stangnet and other Mustang sites! Show Less
Most of the exterior mods to the GT were done before i bought it. The stripe kit was already done and the hood is a 2.5 inch Harwood. Most of the stuff that ... Show moreyou see is also factory or OEM stuff.
Now, being young and stupid, i wrecked the car a few times. One time, i put the car into a Dodge Ram courtasy of black ice, and the other, a 91-year-old man hit my car door---- as i was getting in it. But, i had them fixed (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) Thanks to Ford for fixing my GT without any flaws.
The only Exterior mod that i did was adding a Saleen wing that was a gift (thank you!).
I also added a set of Pony rims, but im going 5 lug and switching them for some '99GT rims.
This sticker was custom made when i bought the car. it had like 50 small peices made so that it would go through it like it was one with the stripes. However, the police said it was "an obstruction of view" and made me scrape it off... that was a sad day.
The audio set up includes a Sony CD player, Alpine 3.5" front speakers and Pioneer rear speakers. To give the Mustang some extra bass, i added a set of 10" Legacy subs and a Blaupunkt amp. Show Less
