194 5 L.E.D. Matrix bulbs in a 5th gen cluster. Bulbs can be bought at www.autolumination.com
Making a 194 bulb fit. You have to trim the bulbs down shown in picture. I used my hobby scissors that I use for R/C cars. Trim to the lead on the bulb. Pull leads away from bulb also shown in picture. Take off a little at each time cause if you take off too much it will fall out of the socket. I know this from experience. The leads will rest on the outside but will make contact with the twist bases on the side.
Remove cluster from dash. Take off the lens and gauge bezel pieces covering gauges.
You only have to take out the speedometer and Tachometer out of the cluster. They are held in by the four silver screws.
Next put the twist base in the cluster. You see the white pieces sticking out of the cluster I removed them.
Next on the gauges themselves there are clear tabs that stick down to get close to the bulbs. Those are too long now so you have to trim them down too. I trim about a 1/8th off.
Install the gauges back in the cluster. Dont put the clear and black pieces on yet. Plug the gauges back in. Turn on your lights to make sure they are all on. You will know if they are not on. If they all light up put the clear and black pieces back on and install the cluster back in. There you go 194 bulbs in a 5th gen cluster.
Also notice my digital readout is blue. Thats the #24 LED bulb that I used first. You can do they same thing if you had purchased the led bulbs like I did. Show Less
