This is Rachel. She was the first Ford product I ever owned. I always wanted one. She was in amazing shape. My only complaint when I first got her, was that ... Show moreshe was sooo under powered as her 302 / 5.0 litre 140 hp engine was not enough to move her 4100 lbs around. Into my second year of owning her, I had to put in another engine as the original wore out. I decided to put in a 1990 Mustang GT's HO 5.0 engine with 225 hp. I added dual exhaust and a K&N air filter making a big difference in performance and fuel economy. I also had to get her A/C system upgraded, having much troubles finding a vacuum leak (the V8 juice can was the source). Then, her newly installed timing chain broke, bending valves and such. Then, her front springs gave out. A month later, her rear springs. Then, her fuel lines needed replacement. I knew that brake lines and possibly her heater core could be next. I traded her in on my 1994 Chrysler LHS (Gavin) before she took any more of my hard earned money. Come to think of it, I never owned a car with that much attitude either! I'm not sure I'll ever own another Ford either! : )
Here is Rachel, with the lace turbine rims I picked up for her. They really improve the look of the car. Here's a early Saturday morning picture of her dirty.
This picture was taken the same day, after she received some TLC. I noticed that her paint color takes on many shades in all these photos. Show Less

Show moreund Paula while out for a drive, parked in a driveway with a for sale sign in the back window. $600 later, she was all mine. Paula had the 318 cid / 5.2 litre wedge engine with 230 bhp. What a great first car to have.
Paula had a dent in the passenger real quarter panel. I got most of the dent out on my own. After 3 years of searching all over the world, I found the stainless chrome side moulding in my home town.
I loved the way her front grill shined.
Below, is Paula... fresh out of the body shop, having a face-lift.
The next two pictures were taken after I had spent 6 hours detailing her to go to a car show / cruise night. My neighbour and close friend was very impressed with my passion for car care. That's her standing in the door. And then, she took my photo. Oh... to be 20 again with all that time to play. Paula is now in the care of another owner. Hope he treats her royally! Show Less
