So after the door handles got painted my wife decided to paint the front and rear chevy bow ties.
I have a set of 17" Motegi Traklite 2.0. The tire size is a 215/45/R17 4 lug pattern on I dont remember what kind of rubber. They are not on the car because ... Show moreone tire hit a pothole and blew the tire out and dented the rim. Another rim is also dented but not as bad and either one of the bent rims or another rim doesnt hold air. They have been sitting in my cousins basement for about 4 or 5 years. I found a place that can fix them but i have to get the money together. I am extreemely strapped for cash. Other priorities first. I'm hopping to get them fixed and powder coated the same blue as the bow ties and have a little bit of black in there as well for next year.
Our cobalt also has the side molding on each door to help protect agains other swingin doors and stuff from hitting our doors. Well over the years they had y... Show moreellowed and it looked discusting. So we decided to paint them as well, and to finish off the paint for now we also painted the chevy symbols on the center caps of each rim. The first pic will be of the prep work then the rest will be the finished product. We will be painting the interior of the car as well but when we have no idea. We have the paint but its fall and we have not had many sunny warm days. We paint in a tiny ass barn converted to a body shop but we don't have a paint booth. So we use the sun and the warmth from the sun to dry our paint. but hey....my wife does such a kick ass job painting you would think it was done in a pro shop with pro equipment, but it's not and you wouldn't be able to tell. :) I love my wife.
