Meet my car. It's a Ford Lynx Ghia 1.6L bought on the year 2000. Interestingly, my car is a facelifted and rebadged Mazda Protege 3rd Gen (BJ ... Show morechassis). It's equipped with a 1.6L DOHC engine called the ZM-DE which is a descendant of the B-series engines on earlier Proteges. The car does a claimed 118hp to the crank and 89whp (according to dyno charts on the net).
I had the front grill changed on the car. Apparently, I was the second guy to get it from Kai Motorsports in Marcos Highway. I had this fiberglass grill painted panther black.
The exhaust was changed to a Fujitsobo Legalis R. It's a JASMA certified muffler and gives me better breathing in the top end. The rest of the exhaust piping including the headers are still stock as I'm still mulling over my upgrade path.
I recently bought 15" J.SPL rims from ROTA. They're imitations of the RSZ-R. My set is colored gunmetal with a polished lip. Tires are 195/55/R15 Advan Neova AD07s. These are the same sticky tires used in the national touring car series. I've also added lowering springs a couple of years back. Mine are whitelines. You can't really see them in the pictures here.
I replaced the factory leather seats with a couple of japan surplus Toyota Levin seats sourced out from caloyski of Protegetech Philippines. Thanks again, caloyski!
Now this intake has a bit of history in it. I was having it installed when I was told that my daughter was about to be born. I ran to the hospital without my car because I had to rush there. This intake is the prototype used for the Ford Lynx race cars from Tuason Racing. I got it from Fusion R in E.Rodriguez avenue. The air filter is from K&N. I also have a strut bar bought from Ford Makati. It's from a Tierra RS in Taiwan. Show Less
