Since I left you My truck ran but it since has blown up. So I am finally swapping in a 6.2L diesel in to her. I know it will take a long time to do but now i... Show mores the perfect time to do it. I could have done this when I was in college for diesel tech but didn't and it would have taken the whole budget up. Now is the perfect timing since it's down and out and well the other engine is shot.
This truck is being built as a storm spotter so I will convert to a 4wd too. Many tell me to just buy another truck and forget about this one but I have too many memories with this truck and that would be the lazy way out. I'm not lazy. I take pride in the things I build. What I did with my old engine was right. What was wrong was the people who bored the block out. They bored it crooked so the rings never seated right and I don't want to mess with that engine anymore. I don't hate 305's but I had so many problems with mine that I am going with what I know better.
So wish me luck with this build. It will be a life saver in the end so it's worth it. Show Less
