MSD ingnition with 6000 rpm rev limiter and a new Miladen Oil Pan, all breathing through 3 inch Hooker Comp Headers, and Edelbrock 3 inch racing mufflers. It is very loud, to say the least. (At least that's what my neighbor and the cops keep telling me)
6 Inch lift with 12 bolt GM in rear, with an Auburn Posi Trac 3.42 gear. Front is an open 10 bolt with 3.42 gear. 35X12X50 on 15x10 Amercian Racing. A turbo 400 with a transpack and a mild B&M shift kit are mated to a NP 205. It has a B&M 2800 Stall converter.
Paint and grafix were done locally, we used the Chevy Bow Tie instead of flames. Then painted them down both sides. Had the windows tinted last week.
Plugged numbers into the desk top dyno and got 578 Horse Power. Have not had the opportunity to run her on a real dyno.
The truck started life with a 6 cylinder, 4 speed and a step side. Opted for the big motor, auto trans and a fleet side bed. The bed is a donor from an 86. The trans and transfer case were donors from a wrecked 90's model truck that only had 3500 miles on it.
Installed new bumpers, front and rear. New grill, floors, doors and fenders. Installed a B & M ratchet shifter. The carpet, headliner and seat cover were also replaced. I need to complete the interior, some of the dash parts are still not replaced, heater vents etc. Has a decent stereo installed with a couple 8's behind the seat. Show Less
