ts a sad day, and really the only thing I was dreading in my dream of owning a beautiful convertible, the car is away for now at 160,263km, I will have it out again as soon as the snow is gone, and to fight the winter fever I will be spending my time giving the car a cleaning of a lifetime (engine, backs of rims, full paint restore)
Some of the work has already started!
Some other projects I hope to attempt over the winter include, repairing the damaged gauge hood with either a Plasti Dip paint, or a leather cover, restoring the original Nardi shift knob and handbrake, and painting the valve cover and brake callipers.

It had scratches, small dents, and personality like any older car should, but all in all it seamed to be in great mechanical condition, and our mechanic friend gave us the OK! I managed to get him down to $4400, which seamed like a good deal for us all! We scheduled to come pick it up on Saturday the 2nd of November... \nMore to come in the next post!\n Show Less
