With proper driving it shouldn’t be a problem. I will be adding methanol injection as soon as I get the transmission upgraded. Right now my plan is to do PPG helical cut gears, dog engagement 1-4 with OEM 5th, billet shift forks, billet 5th engagement hub and some sort of center differential upgrade, as well as an upgraded rear differential and axles. I will need to do some sort of roll bar once I get past 11.4 as well. Until I do the transmission I plan on shooting for mid to upper 11s with lower boost, to save the transmission. I have also now added 06 WRX TR front seats. These are lower, and have better bolstering. Which allows me to sit about an inch lower in the car. It really helps the feel when driving it. No more “truck” feeling. It feels pretty much like an STI at this point from a driver perspective. After doing some tuning, I have had to put the UTEC back in because I maxed the 3" blow-through MAF at 14.5PSI. Going to the UTEC to control fueling via speed density, I was able to get the boost up to 22PSI before maxing my 850cc injectors. This motor flows THAT MUCH air. I am not running meth injection right now so I am stuck at 22PSI for the time being. Until I do a transmission I probably shouldnt make more power anyway. Right now its making right at 400whp conservatively speaking. Once the tranny goes in (will be a long time I fear) I will add the alcohol, the 1000cc injectors and up the boost into the 25-26PSI range and am looking for somewhere in the 500whp range for the day to day map. On E85 I am expecting closer to 600whp. But again, that will be a long ways off, as the current transmission couldnt handle anywhere near that kind of power.
