on this page we'll lift the hood and let ya'll see what "lurks beaneath". She is powered by her original L98 (Corvette motor for those who... Show more are wondering) Tune Port Injected 350 cube V8. With the clock only showing a mere 121,XXX miles you can probably imagine she still has plenty of punch left to annihilate all the Mustangs and Ricers out there! Her motor is pretty much stock with only minor upgrades planned for her in the future since I am very pleased with her stock capabilities. She is backed by her likewise stock 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission. For her assend she has the much-desired Borg-Warner 9-Bolt with 2.77 (blecch!) gears and posi with rear discs. She still wears her factory 16" IROC aluminum rims she's had since new wrapped in Toyo Proxy ZR 255 series rubber that holds the road like stank on...well, you get the idea...ya'll wanna see what i mean by "plenty of punch"? Well lookee here :-)...(don't mind the hatch, the motor died tonight:-() Show Less
well, sorry no pics on here yet, but we'll probably have 'em on here very shortly. this page is dedicated to her beautiful (guess ya have to trust m... Show moree on this one, huh?!) interior. She is basically a fully-loaded IROC interior only lacking a few options to make it completely loaded out. She has the power driver's seat, power mirrors, locks, windows. She also has a few very desirable options you don't see too often in these. She has the FACTORY CB Antenna (no, im not making this up, the owner's manual says it!) and the factory Bose premium sound system with the locking floor in the rear. The floor has two mini Bose speakers in it and amps as well and it locks over the rear drop down stowage area. Pretty neat option if ya ask me! Other than that, she is pretty much a stock out-of-the-box IROC. Her interior is black and nearly perfect save for one tear in her driver's seat. Show Less
Here is where we will discuss her nearly perfect exterior. Save for a few oopsie spots she is squeaky clean. For being original '88 paintwork i think s... Show morehe looks pretty d@mn good. My biggest problem with her right now is that the previous owner decided it would be kinda fun to see if she could remove her passenger side mirror with no hands...or tools!
So this is my end result of that little personal challenge! Add to that a few shallow gouges on the driver side and that is about the total of her damage. I have a question for all of you IROC owners. Have you ever seen an IROC with this color and these stripes? if you can't really see them they are yellow and silver stripes. I was just kinda curious as to how rare these were? well, that's about all I have to say about her at the time being, I will be sure to post more pics as more things are done to her. She ain't too shabby for an $1800 car, is she? Show Less
