The caprice has sold! Thanks for all the interest. I left some of the pics on here for you guys to enjoy!Vehicle Description 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classi... Show morec. Great condition. I love this car. I've devoted almost 4 years of my life building this car, but now I'm forced to sell it because I have a baby on the way. I am the third owner, the first were an elderly couple, then my dad bought it in 99(?) with about 46000 miles. He had it in his name until this year when we transferred the title to my name. Weve taken incredible care of the car, its been pampered since before we got it. It is a 305, and the motor is very strong, but the tranny acts a little odd on long trips. It begins to drop in and out of overdrive after a while. Someone told me that it wouldnt cost much to fix, probably the converter or something. A/C blows cold.Vehicle Condition The SuspensionI just had front end work done after it hit 100k miles. I replaced the idler arm and tie-rod ends. Ive installed an Airlift air suspension on the front with new shocks. It rides like a Cadillac. Four switches and an air pressure guage control the bags from the inside. One 100% duty pump and one 5 gallon tank. This isnt a slow set up, the car almost hops. It has big boy 1/2 valves. The Stereo/Mobile Video/AlarmOk, lets start at the front. Alpine Phantom Face CD player(the one that has an oversized face that hides inside the unit when turned off), 1 audiobahn 1300hcq mono amp, 1 one-farrad capacitor, an extra battery mounted in the trunk, and 3 12 audiobahn flame qs mounted in the rear deck. The subs are in a box designed strictly for SPL and hit like you wouldnt believe. Anyone that has ever tried to make a B-Body drop hard, knows what a feat this truly is. I havent finished the rear deck, but a little fiberglass would probably be the way Id go. I havent mounted any 6x9s yet, but again, you can finish it any way youd likeIt has 1 5.6 inch tv mounted in a homemade center console with a dvd player. Neither is top of the line, so its really nothing special, I just wanted something to watch.I had Vipers top alarm installed. It came with the keyless start, keyless entry , key chain warning(the lcd key chain remote stays in contact with the alarm for up to 1/4 mile range and tells you when the alarm is on, off, going off, what set it off, etc.) This alarm has pretty much everything you would ever want or need in an alarm. The Paint/BodyThis car was stolen from my dad 2 years ago, after he got it back , we painted it deep blue pearl. The guy did a pretty good job, but its not perfect. The keyhole for the trunk has been shaved and the trunk pop button inside has been detached leaving the alarm remote as the only way to get in the trunk. When you have over $3000 invested in your trunk, you tend to drastic measures. On the roof where the driver door meets the windshield, there is some bubbling in the paint, nothing serious or too noticeable. There are a couple of chips on the door from where it was hit by a shopping cart or something, but again nothing too serious. The ExhaustI had the exhaust custom made into true duals with an h-pipe and flow masters. I t has a 305 engine, but roars like a 350. 4 inch Stainless tips really give it that extra touch. The InteriorWithin the last month, I removed the factory leather and installed 1996 Leather Pontiac Bonneville seats. Anybody can tell you that this is the best interior upgrade for the b-bodies. It provides more support and really gives the car that sporty feel. The new seats are in terrific condition considering theyre almost 8 years old. The carpet needs to be replaced soon, it has taken a beaten in its life time. The Wheels20 Edge Concept Crystals wrapped in 245/35ZR20 Nittos. These wheels are incredible. I bought these brand new a year ago, and have been turning heads ever since. The chrome is unbelievable and has no chips, imperfections, blems, etc. They're real head turners! I also have the original aluminum Caprice Classic Wheels(not the hub caps, the real thing) that will come with the car. This is what it looked like when I bought it 4 years ago. Show Less
First off, let me say I love B-bodies. I will probably never own a car other than an Impala or Caprice. With that said, this is the "off-the-wall"... Show more; page. Some of this stuff is cool as hell, but some of it is really odd...or just plain silly. I'll let you be the judge. I don't mean to offend anyone and I am giving props to those who know they deserve it. If your car is posted here, and you don't want it to be, let me know and I'll remove it. These are just a bunch of pics of cool, weird, odd, and neat stuff that I've found that people have done with their b-bodies. If you have a weird Impala, or caprice, or heck, even a cool roadmaster, and want it posted, let me know! Enjoy and don't forget to sign my guest book.
OK, the following vehicles aren't b-bodies, but...... Show Less
