The Odyssey was Wheels magazine's Car of the Year for 1995.
Our parents came for a visit to New Zealand this past Christmas 2006. We bought the 1992 Mitsubishi Chariot MX in order to have enough room ... Show morefor my wife and I, our two children, and my parents. The Chariot MX being a 7 seater turned out to be an excellent choice for its people mover duties.
Located in Levin, we packed the Chariot with our luggage and the 6 of us toured New Zealand showing the parents parts of the North Island. We visited Wellington on several occasions, and then traveled through Palmerston North towards the Hastings, Napier area, stopping off at Havelock North.
We marched up Te Mate Peak in the Chariot and enjoyed all the views and then continued on towards Gisborne, NZ.
During fill ups and present petrol prices at the time, usually $65 dollars will fill her up until our next stop. We traveled through the Gorge and continued West to Tauranga and then traveled South through Rotorua, and Taupo.
The Chariot made the journey with ease and was easy and pleasant to drive. We eventually headed back south to Levin via the Desert Road and used the vehicle for 3-4 more weeks while the parents enjoyed their holiday.
Presently, we have enjoyed using the Mitsubishi Chariot MX for family duties, taking the kids to kindy and making grocery store runs. All the seats lay down, giving the owner many options in traveling or putting in larger items in the back to get from point A to point B.
Its a very nice people mover type vehicle that makes a larger family everyday duties much more comfortable. We have enjoyed the vehicle but are now ready to pass it own to someone else in a similar situation, who have family coming to visit, or just need an affordable 7 seater to make daily driving duties much more easy, than your average compact car.
We recently updated the REGO and WOF, with ease, and the vehicle will be passed on with updated REGO & WOF.
