The 454 is in and now I kill the little 4 cylinders. I'll post some pics soon.
So the Nova's been driven for the whol... Show moree summer season with a few bugs that arose during it's drives. I found out that I need a new transmission.. The one I have slips pretty badly, and I also need an altenator now. Luckily I have those pieces. I'm going to install a 400 tranny in it and a high output altenator so I don't have to worry about it. I've also got the beginnings of a new engine happening for it to, so check back for more details on that. :)
Here it is... 2 years of work and I think it turned out pretty good myself. The taillights were custom cut by my dad and I and the red plastic was taken from a different car. The exhuast system is a custom job by my dad's muffler shop (at the time) wit straight pipes and dual bottles to chrome slash cut tips.
The interior was all hand painted by me with a custom orange and black scheme used and an Autometer tach was one of the finishing touches along with a console from a 79 Nova Rally. This is a picture of the hand painted interior. and here's an engine shot when it was clean and nice. Show Less
This is my car before I started all the work on it. There's a big dent in the quarter panel behind the door and the interior was nicely filled with garba... Show morege and horribly dirty. I also got some seats out of a stationwagon. After all was clean and the body color was chosen I got started on the full makeover of the interior. The seat-backs were painted along with the arm rests, dash, console, and door panel trim. Then I installed a sunroof and put on the after market steering wheel and an aftermarket tach. I also have a shift kit to put into it. Which will be a nice addition to the horse power/weight ratio. Show Less
