I got me a good paying summer so I will be doing more work on my el camino here in the next few months!
This my 1969 el camino. Its not really an SS but it ... Show morehas everything but the engine to be one so naturally I'm going to put a 396 in it.
The engine is however a very beefy 350, makes odd tire wear....

What I'm going to do here soon is take a plasma cutter to the back of the cab of my el camino, then I am going to cut that in half. This will allow me to put a hinge in it so that it will have a tri-fold process.
First it will be able to look like a normal el camino, then you will fold the window in, and fold the whole back down so that it lays on the rear access panel which with then fold up and the seats will be in there and we will place some kind of locking mechanisms on both sides to keep it weather tight.
