I used to work at Texaco Tiremark in Lynnwood Washington, after about 4:30 in the afternoon to almost 11 o'clock I would be the only one there, and we weren't a very busy gas station. I usually ended up doing alot of the work on my car in the parking lot there. Some of the things I ended up doing were shaving the side moulding, painting my wheels, and various interior and brake work.Do I even need to say where I took this picture at. I?ve done a lot of different kinds of projects on both my car and friends cars and I have some pretty good time/cost saving tips to give people.Some projects that I?ll be doing write-ups on include:-smoking taillights and other lenses.-strut tower brace installation.-stereo installation.-removal and replacement of struts and springs.-techniques for flat black goodness and recommended paints.-rotor and brake pad replacement.-turbocharger theory and installation.-other good sites that are good sources of information.-lay flat rear wiper.-recommended aftermarket parts suppliers.-cheap custom sliders for aftermarket racing seats (there?s no need to spend hundreds on seat brackets that won?t fit your car properly.-cam installation (for 8valve engines).-recommended tuning routes: Will also be broken down into subcategories for the MK1,MK2, MK3, and MK4-beginner (first round of mods to do for new dubbers)-intermediate (next round of mods for those with a little more experience and a need for more power)-advanced (for those with a disgusting obsession for danger fun)-expose on the future of carbon fiber for v-dubs and who?s currently doing what with it. These are all just a few of the things that I have had experience with or have done extensive research on and would just like to share the wealth with others.
