They got a common block 2.2 turbo motor with forged internals. Then they recieved the garret t2 turbo with the 2.5 inch swingvalve and were factory intercooled. They were loaded with automatic temperature control, leather interior, infinity sound system, power locks, power windows and power top. The GTC package also entailed stiffer suspension, factory 11 inch breaks with rear vented discs, and always came with a turbo motor (in 89).This car is no exception. I rescued this car from a 17 year old who tore the car up. Its got the typical chrysler paint problem but the car needs a headgasket, clutch, tune up, tires (and one wheel which is flat spotted), drivers side axle, motor mounts, top, interior, passenger fender and of course paint. Plans for the car inlcude a 3 inch side exit exhaust, larger turbo, front mount intercooler, flat black paint, nicely done up interior, decent sound system, strut bar, roll bar (like on the chrysler pace car) , a custom calibration, and a buncha smaller detail touches. Show more, EGT, And narrow band A/F gauge (wideband is coming as soon as I get the car in good running condition.A vacuum block. This is essential to any turbo mopar period. Simplifying your vacuum harness saves a BUNCH of head aches later when you have to track down a vacuum leak. Only running the essentials will make diagnoses quick and a lot less painstaking.Of course it will need a strut bar. Especially in a convertible rigidity is a must when cornering Show Less

My ride (well not ridin yet) is a 66 charger. This car came factory with a 383 4brl automatic. This car came with A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, and a da... Show moresh clock. The original body color was yellow and the interior was a really ugly looking green. The body on this car is rust free and nearly perfect, the motor is in the shop where it will eventually get rebuilt, the transmission is sitting the car but it will also get pulled and rebuilt. The interior is all apart and the front seats are recovered (the rears aren't). I have new carpet and new recovering for the interior to put it to white
Future plans on this car include making her show quality, painting it a nice deep blue towards b5 (maybe a lil darker) and some white race stripes following the cool body lines on the hood. She will recieve a hood scoop and i have some 16" 05 mustang wheels and some nice wide low profile rubber that is going on there. They will look pretty sweet once i get it to sit the way i want it. Shes definitely a work in progress but when i start working on her i will put up some work in progress pictures

This is when we loaded the car to move it to where it sits now (my dads salvage yard). You can see its got the 15 inch police wheels with brand new tires. They are leaving as thats not the look i want for this car.
This a really bad picture of my motor thats going in the car. It is stored away for now, as the first thing this car is receiving is a paint job as it is already stripped.
These are the mustang wheels i am talking about. Dont worry the ford emblem is gonna get covered up with the mopar pentastar stickers that go on the magnum 500's. They look really sharp on this car. Show Less
