So the plastic supercar just wasn't fine the way it was, I had to modify it a little bit (or why else would it be called a project car, right?) So it immedia... Show moretely had to get lowered, these cars don't have coil springs, they have a mono-springs that runs from one side of the car to another, so lowering involves a simple wedge and bolt procedure. Then a set of period correct A.R.E. meshies in 17x9.5 were miraculously sourced, and then the typical air filter, ignition coil, spark plug and wire mods just had to happen. Of course all the usual maintenance stuff was done as well which included all the various fluids and filters yadda yadda. Show Less

Those in the know will say, but Hideki that doesn't look like a 1990 wtf? And you'd be right. This started life as a white 1990 car. But adding the 1994 style wide molding body parts and spraying the thing red just seemed like the right thing to do. Under the giant clamshell hood is a Z51 performance handling package and J55 factory big brake package equipped 6-speed manual transmission car, powered by a torquey 350 tuned-port injected engine.
