The pic isn't actually the car. I have the car in the shop right now and I'm painting those stripes on it once I get her out... so until then that... Show more9;s what you have to look at.
It's a 350/350 combo... replaced the cam / lifters and removed all of the spray paint from the block (thanks to the last owner) and it's in the shop getting a tranny rebuild among other things. New door panels and the stripe kit are waiting to go in along with my 15 x 7 Cragar SS wheels for the front and 15 x 12's in the back. More pics soon. Show Less
The car has officially sold. My 8 month love affair with it has come to an end. And, consequently...
I'm checking out a Chevelle and a couple of Nova'... Show more;s the day I get the cash for mine. I'll have a new muscle car added to this garage soon!
1969 Chevy Nova
350 C.I. Small Block -- Mild cam, 202 heads, Edelbrock Torker Intake aluminum manifold, Edelbrock 600 CFM Carb, K&N open Airfilter Xtreme airfilter top, 1 5/8 headers (not coated or painted), dual flowmaster exhaust (the car is LOUD), TH 360 transmission that works great and gets you going forward quick, I think it has a shiftkit and a 2,500 stall.
P.S.: The engine has a lot of chrome on it, along with a Bowtie wingnut for the air filter: K&N chrome airfilter top, chrome alternator and bracket, power steering unit, radiator shroud. Has braided lines and red lines going to the spark plugs with wiring harnesses.
Handling & Suspension
Power steering, drum brakes. Just had it re-aligned at Big O, along with the front control arm bushings completely done. 10 bolt rearend (3.34's, to my knowledge), airshocks in the back with slightly wider tires in the back. I think they're 8's up front and 10's in the back?
The paint is white with dark blue racing stripes. Not perfect, looks amazing driving by or at about five feet away. Cragar SS chrome wheels. I painted the grille black and the bumpers are both straight and clean, no rust. The windows are all tinted (except the windshield) I don't know the %%, but you can't see in from outside.
Interior needs the most work -- but it's clean. The door panels are spray painted black as is the dash area, no chips or runs though. The headliner is gone but I have a black replacement that goes with the car! The seats are not stock but are comfortable, color gray and black. They're great looking but the driver side one leans back a little due to some bolt coming out on the adjustment lever or something. The front windows go up and down perfect, but the back windows sometimes get stuck going up. Handles are all brand new. The car is shifted by a B&M Z-gate on the floor. The steering wheel shown in the picture is gone and I put a black Chevy 4 spoke in it. The kind with a detatchable center plate with a bowtie emblem.
Car was an original A/C...have the controls / box in the trunk because the headers made it not fit properly. Have two Cragar chrome wheels that match the set on the car but are thinner to give it that drag race look, no tires on them. The missing interior pieces also come with the car including a black headliner and all the trim that goes around above the doors. For an extra 1,550 dollars of the price paid for the car the buyer can purchase the Holley SysteMAX kit I have. The link to it is
I also have a folder full of reciepts for all of the stuff bought for it over the past several years. Show Less
