Hopefully more mods to come in the future.
Thanks for taking a look at my car. I don't have many p... Show moreics as of yet so I will be slowly adding some as I get them. This is a daily driver. All I can say is, "I love this car!" Boring stuff below but it kind of explains how I came about this car.
I got my first SS in the summer of 99. It was my very first car I purchased on my own. It was Pewter Metallic with an A4. When I found out that the production of the Camaro was coming to an end I just had to get the last years model. I was looking specifically for a black SS with an M6. I looked all over the place for several months with no luck. I finally found a dealer in Dallas that said that one just arrived off the truck. That day after getting off work I rushed to Dallas to take a look. After waiting almost an hour for them to take the plastic off and clean it up I finally got to see it. Well it was not black but Navy Blue Metallic with the CME, chrome wheels and an M6. I just had to get it! After almost 2 hours of confering with the signifacant other filling out paper work and talking with my Dad about my 99 SS, I drove it home.
I could not afford at the time to have 2 car payments so my Dad secretly let me know that he would buy my 99 SS from me. My mother has always wanted a corvette so my dad figured this would be the closest she would get. So upon arriving at my parents house that night I proudly got out of my new ride and handed my old keys to my mother. She had a blank look on her face saying "What do you want me to do with them?" Dad smiled and said, "It's yours!" So now we have 2 Super Sports in the family.
So here it is 3 years down the road and the warrenty is about up. I am really looking forward to modding the thing. Hopefully sometime in the near future I will have some base pulls with the mostly stock setup. Then its on to a head and camshaft change. What to do next?
Image of what I feel is the heart of the SS.
