JollyJumper: Hi I paid R2700 for the chip. I havent driven the car yet, was done about 2 months ago. I work in Africa for 3 months at a time so I havent been able to TEST it. As soon as I get home I will check the receipt and let you know where he got it done for me. My missus says she is really happy with the car tho. Bad news for her, she has to go back to her opel when i get home. Paid for my stuff today, ordered $5000 worth of goodies, incl shipping, still works out cheaper than buying it in SA and i know that im not getting ripped off by our "specialists" in SA Tell you a little story. I have been talking to a lot of the guys here with MX6 cars and they tell me the opposite to what Im being told in SA. In SA Big Boss Auto told me not to fit an induction kit as it will reduce performance on the car - Bullshit Big Boss Auto gave me a prive of R13000.00 for a vertical door kit incl fitting, the kit is costing me R7500 and takes 1 hour to install TNT Exhausts told me not to fit a branch on the motor as it wont improve performance and just make a lot of noise - bullshit Luis Lima quited me R45000 to fit a single turbo and said that it is impossible to fit a twin turbo. I got a quite from the USA for all the parts incl shipping and both the turbos for R36000. So go figure. shop around and ask around and dont listen to the "specialists" in SA if you dont like their answers. If you looking for web sites or prices that I have put together let me know and I can email it to you Adrian ...

morDick: Hey. Thanks for good comment. Yes, it's 2.0. :-) After couple of weeks i will make new photos of my ride. What i want to ask: you have KL-ZE engine?...

Vuurwa: Hey howzit!!!..`BROTHER`!!!!...very nice to have heard from someone in my own country!!..welcome to Cardomain!!!thanks for the compliment..yes the `WIELE`was kinda hard to find...the Mazda share the same hole configuration as the Camry, but the camry was shod with 15inch and not 17,so it was difficult to get rims....it`s not exactly the rims i`d really wanted, but had to settle for the existing ones...i`m a sucker for chrome...i know they heavier, but it`s what i wanted..to me the looks count a lot....screw the petrol consumption....i also want Lmabo doors..aparently they are done here, locally and cost in the region of R10,000...ouch!!..but then again, one can`t let R10,000 `koppe`stand between U and happiness!!....a fibre glass bonnet too...with a scoop...i saw them on MX6`s in America...gonna import the damn thing if i have to.....Angel eyes..... Looking forward to see your car..... I wanted to buy the MX in 97,but R135,000 was a bit stiff and besides that the damn interest rate was 23%....all these years i wanted one and in 2004,November i took 2 two days leave and went to Gateng to search for one..found this one with only 102,000 on the clock....full service history....this car is sooo damn nice....i luvvit...my sister has one too...bought it because i love it and the moment she saw it she fell in love with it.... I`m from Newcastle in Kwazulu Natal. Was born in Prieska, stayed in Carnarvon(Northern Cape)for 16 years, moved to Port Elizabeth (what a shittish place!!!..it`s like a damn baby!!..if it`s not wet, it`s windy!!!)..galeforced winds blowing there almost every day.....shiat!!!! I`m actually a `Rock Spider`(.Afrikaans oke!..) Cheers. Anton....
