slammed02chevy: hey man...well first off all drop kits are slightly different. I got a DJM 4/6 drop. It's a very simple drop because the up front all it is, is lower control arms which is much nicer than other 4inch drop kits that are both the spindle and the control arm. So the front is easy. The back wont need the fender lip rolled. I had 275/45R20's and never had any problem...to an extent. If I hit a really good bump on the highway then it would rub. Quick bumps aren't bad it's the ones where it's just a big UP and Down motion than tends to rub....but with a 40 series tire you should be okay....again it all depends on your backspacing on your rim but it is MORE than likely you will be fine. If your tires are skinnier than 275 then it's almost a garauntee that you'll be just fine. Also, I had the 275's up front on my truck and I had no issue with rubbing. If you come at a turn fast that dips at the same time you MAY lightly rub but you only rub on that crappy black plastic and it's so little its not an issue. IN all you really dont have much trouble with rub....especially with smaller tires than what I had...you should be MORE than fine and a 4/6 looks really great on trucks like ours. To answer your final question, you really wont have much trouble with steep driveways or anything...but you will scrape a few times getting used to the new clearance issues that come with the drop. Really only EXTREME peaks cause problems...its pretty easy to realize which ones would be a problem. You will be able to clear almost ALL speedbumps as long as you go slow so as not to bounce the truck down onto the speed bump. You'll be happy with the 4/6 though I know it. It looks the best and still maintains a the capabilites that you will run into on a daily basis. Hope that helps! Good luck man and keep up the good work! Tell me when you get the kit and pics up...or if you have anymore questions....
