EVILMARK7: Hey man how's it goin? Yeah Spacers are legal here in Virginia....
4doorkicker: On my Sidekick, to put the speakers in the back, no cutting of any metal was required. I did need to cut the vinyl material and use a hammer to shape the area where the 6x9's go. It wasn't a huge amount of work though....
Mr_Industries: i'd did mine for a few reasons but mostly for the experience. the turbo won't be a huge help offroad, except for donuts, as you have to wind it up. it comes on around 2500rpm which is better than i expected. i don't do a lot of serious off roading though, mostly just playing in the mud. there's prob equal arguments to the sc vs turbo but mostly comes down to preference or cost. the only wiring i had on the intake was for the MAF sensor which is still intact but moved to just behind the pod filter. there are two air lines, one for the IACV and the other to vent from the crank case. the IACV one needs to be connected behind the MAF so the air is measured but the other one can go to a catch can or similar. i can post some pics if you like....
