rrowland: Cool, the rear bumper was the item that made me sure it was my old car. My son found you and forwarded the link. Wanted to use the 73 bumpers, but they were all destroyed on the race cars.... Yes, it's one of our old ITA SCCA race cars. A group of locals had about 5-7 cars we raced. We then collected old dead RX3's for parts. I built it out of spare parts when I quit racing. The old car was banged up pretty bad. Of course it's not a real SP model. The front clip came off another wrecked car. Just threw a bunch of part together. Sure liked the way it looked like a small mustang? That motor has a lot of races on it. Stock with racing apex seals and the larger RX7 rotor gears. One win and second in points SW region. Ran a few SOLO I's with the car like it is/was now and a few autocrosses. I sold the car to a Dave Hufford in Vegas.mid-late 90's. He has since disappeared? Got board with the car, such a hassle to pass smog:) Just got my Miata left. It's oh so stock:( Thats all that comes to mind..... Rick...
