Sprintn: Formula, Thanks for your input... that is what Autosport Werks a local Audi and Porsche tuner is telling me as well. THe 255/40 will rub on the top of the tall front upright and I will have to space then too far out. My 18 are the stock Audi 9 spoke Wheels found on the RS6. I'm sure you have seen them. I think Audi did a nice job matching the style of this wheel to the A6... fitting and giving it a racier look... if your stance is correct and you put the correct spacers behind them. I think they will need a 5mm up front and 12mm in back. I have a 2004 S-line that already had a set of 18's on it with 235/40's so I can do fairly accurate estimates. I will be lowering it and putting stiffer sway bars on it and a mild Chip as well... and am looking at the Rieger body kit from LLTek. Hopefully all this will happen in April so that I can again start concentrating on my "73" Alfa GTV Rebuild. Why are you getting rid of your 19's??? Do they keep getting bent by irregularities in the roads? I thought the larger sidewall on the 18's would help with that as well as soften the stiff ride that a lower stiffer suspension creates.?.? Cheers!...
winatu: Hi formulagigi. I really liked the audi ad you have for the background. quattro, best when left wet. could i get a copy of this in jpg form? or do you know where I can get a copy. it would make a great desktop background. thanks ken@equinox-cm.com...
moo911: My car has the H&R coilover kit. MSRP is $1600 for parts only. Labor for spring and shock installation would typically be 4 to 6 hours. My rims are 19" BBS CH's with 265/30/19 Continental ContiSport Contacts....
