BAD83642: Hey Danny, it is the cheaper of the two lifts. It works good, looks good and there is no rubbing of the tires with the inner fenders being trimmed. It was already installed by the dealer when i purchased the truck. I am having problems though. I am having issues with the stabilitrak activating too soon in low speed corners. The dealer is trying to find a way to fix this but if they cant they may be buying the truck back. When it activates it applies the ABS system to slow the truck down in the corner. It sounds like a tire rubbing and you get a small pulse at the break pedal. I am wondering if this is the problem Tahoen is really experiencing and not really tire rub. When you turn the Stabilitrak off by holding the button for 5 seconds there are no problems. I bought this truck for christmas for my wife and want the safety features to work correctly. The computer was set for the 35" tire but did not fix the problem....
BAD83642: Hey Danny. I am running the Superlift 6" Lift. The 6.0L engine does shut down to four cylinders but only while coasting or going down hill....
Fyrmnphil: Hey Danny, thanks for the comments. The Gibson exhaust I bought is the alum., side swept, single exhaust. I believe it is a 3in pipe cats all the way out. Its not very loud inside the cab which is what I wanted. As for the gas mileage, I never had the computer reset for the larger tires so it only shows 13 and I think it also affects the engine dropping down to 4 cyliders which only happens while coasting!...
