aregc: hey sorry it took so long to get back, I've been busy. On your question. its cheaper to build a d. you can use an hx two peice manifold and a turbo from an eclipse. You just need a custom downpipe or a welder if you can do it. The b has more torque though. Parts are cheaper for the d also. Thats what I use in my wifes car. let me know what you decide....
hothatch567: hey sorry i take so long, but my civic runs 13s 1/4 mile, like about 5 sec 0-60... idk where time slip went. i got my turbo from some race shop here in yokohama it's a t66... eeeh idk how much tho. i think it was about 3500 made right off the factory. nice car....
BurrelliRacing: Hi, the D-Series engine can be found in most of the 'economical' Hondas. If you're going to turbo a Honda engine, while you can get bolt-on kits for the D and B series, its best that you start with the B. You can also interchange heads with the B16A and B18C. If you want some torque to start with, why not try the H22A, (DOHC 2200cc 4cyc). You might want to check out Hondata.com for engine and ECU option info....
