SJCharney: Hey Nick....my 70 is a real 454 car....actually an LS-5. The dead give away is the 5500 red line tach. The LS-6 and L-78 had the 6500 red line tachs. The 454 I located is a 70 LS-6 block with casting numbers and dates around the same time my car was built......May 1970. Thanks for the compliements on my chevelle!!! I have thought about putting the orginal wheels and tires on the car but, the Cragar SS rims are period correct and gives that extra "wow factor".
