SofaKingWeTodDid: yeah i hear ya, its all aluminum. but with a plastic cover. but either way, with my ride i wouldnt push a turbo without a rebuild first, im thinkin of rebuilding anyhow just cuz i can hear some rods makin some noise and it bugs the shit out of me, but all i wanna do is rebuild the top end. leave the bottom alone, i hear the bottom end of a 3800 is indestructible too... i could be miss informed, but either way, all the noise in my car is commin off the top end and i dont lose oil or anything. doesnt burn any funny colours. so redoin the top end should be fine, right? might get some better stuff when i do it, maybe try and get some cash to polish the heads or something.... little bit of paint, some aluminum valve covers... i hear there is a turbo kit too... it sits the turbo ontop of the tranny... again i could be wrong. (i hear the 3.4dohc has more power to weight anyhow) but a DOHC 3800 would rock the shit house!!...
