ggaagg57: hi rob, ive had about a 100 vws , this was the frist v8 , it makes about 412 hp at rear tires at 7200 rpm ,it has a solid lift cam, 598 lift just under 300 dur. eagle steel crank ,202 valves, eagle rod and light weight pistons, the car needs slicks, you can boil the tires at 40 if you jump on it, however at 120 mph the car is out of control if you are not careful.do i want to race? i would race anyone even if i knew i would lose .because you can win them all , but you can have fun trying. nice bug, there are not many cars that are as much fun as a fast bug. have fun but be careful . ggaagg57...

Vess10: I am interested in that engine but not until next summer. I need to buy a house or rent a garage first. I don't really have anywhere to put it right now and I can't swap it until summer. Let me know if you're going to get rid of it....
