Okay, Alejandro. I gotcha. You're right. We can save lots of old cars that way. I'll be in touch. Thanks and good luck. By the way, you might want to check out our "fordescortclub" site also here in cardomain if you have time. There you'll see the other Mark 1's and Mark 2' we have in our group.

There are still quite a good number of Cortinas that we see around here Though Escorts are more in demand, specifically the Marks 1 and 2. I can help you out finding them. The Taunus model like yours was not marketed here during its time. Thanks for dropping by and for the comments. Good luck with your nice Taunuses!!!

Added a new picture of the olympia now! I was thinking of selling this car, but now I have bought a house with a garage so now i can store this car without asking other people all the time! And it doesn't cost me anything to have, so i think this car will be here for ever!

It's a lot more easy to have an american car than european cars, it's a bigger market in usa for parts to very old cars! I have to se on german internet websites, but i'm not very good in german, so i try here in norway first! like you i hope the car will be taken good care of after i'm gone! I choose an old european because it's much smaller and nicer to look at than an old big noisy american muscle car!

The engine is sadly enough nothing to do with! it has completely broken down, sad, because it's the same engine that the car came with from the factory! But i will put in a 1,2 that looks the same! This pearl of a car will not ever be sold from me!

The rear spoiler won`t be available at shops or dealers anymore
here in South Africa..
The car is too dated....BUT it can be made and i`m sure someone there in your country(Argentinia)will be able to make it for you.....my Mustangs rear spoiler could`ve been made with
fibre glass, but i decided to rather import an original from
America...

Howzit, I recently moved from Botswana back to South-Africa. The Corty is still in Botswana, have to get the paperwork together to bring it back this side. I need to get your e-mail address again, miss talking to you. Best Regards.
