well i dont know where you got your info but you and i need to talk. first the 3.3 has only one aspect that is better then the 3.o. The 3.3 can produce 90% of its torque between 1200 and 4000 rpms, other then that it pretty much has nothing more then the ability to shake itself to pieces. now the 3.0 on the other hand is a much stronger engine ie. cast iron block giving it a much higher boose handling(3.3 max boost is 7-10psi, 3.0 max boost 10-17psi) if turboed that is. also there is a major flaw in the 3.3 plenum design although the swept back design is more well it isnt anything realy, the plenum on a 3.0 can evenly distribute the air better and also has larger intake ports then the 3.3 since there is more room being directly over the engine that is. it also proves to supply cooler air do to the fact that it isnt hanging over the exhuast manifold as is the 3.3. also i am concerned about your comment on the strength of the bottom end on a 3.3. in one word (BOOM) 3.0 uses a standard/standard crank rather then a 40/40 as does the 3.3. this provides smoother accel. and less likley to come apart at high rpms, but if anything go only with msd ignition systems and champion plugs cuase it will help with high end pull.

Thanks! i had to reweld some of the brackets on my seats to make them fit, and to tell you the truth i miss my cupholders, only now i see how much i used them. I haven't looked at roller rockers, but they wouldn't hurt, i haven't found many parts that fit 3.3, but with bit time and $ anything can be done, i just had done headstud install, headstuds are for 2.2 turbo, I'm hoping for better clamping force, so i can hold down headgaskets better.
I'm currently working on my 3.3, have to put back upper intake manifold and exhaust maniflods, i need to buy new radiator, and tires. Soon i will be installing megasquirt, and hopefully will make some nice stainless manifolds, along with a bigger turbo and rest of related hardware.

this is one of the things that I have been looking into for the beater.. I want a multiport injection system.. guess this upgrade might come after I get all the plumbing right and running a safe 4psi on stock ignition fuel, but might get an afmu in the mix

i'm liking this setup.. i have a '92 plymouth acclaim beater that has a 2.5L with the TBI setup (throttle body w/ one single fuel Injector) and was thinking about grabbing one of the numberous 2.2/2.5L exhaust manifolds out there that bolt up either a dodge-flanged garrett t3 or mitsu te04
anywho keep up the great work, and checkout my main ride sometime :)
