nice grand am. I know about those belts. My moms 97 went through belts about every 6 months. Anyways come check out my 81 mustang. Its almost ready to be put back on the streets.

Alright! Good news. I did not blow seals. After investigation and research I discovered that this type turbo does not have seals. They have "rings". Like piston rings. I just had tooo much oil pressure going into the turbo, and it was pushing through the "ring". This design keeps stuff OUT of the turbo, but WILL allow oil to come out, if under too much pressure... Well, I put a free flow oil outlet on and that took care of that...So, vids soon as I complete my tubing... PEACE! dRU.....

CRAP! Guess what... I get the damn thing hooked up, pushing boost and guess what! No, the engine did no blow up... yet... TOO MUCH OIL PRESSURE to the turbo!!!! AHHH!!!!!!!! What a pain in the ASS!!! I just wanted to throw it as far as I could! NOW I have to dismantle the sum bitch and apply new seals... YAY!!!! ONE more day of work won't hurt!!! JUST A PAIN!!!!! SHIT!!!!!!

thanx for the advice, i was thinkin it was a bit much, but thats why im gonna keep the old hood and get a silver one from the grand am junk yard i always go to, just play around a lil. But yeah ur ride is super clean, and its good to see a 2 door, im not really a fan of 4 doors on grand ams, but thats just me. I used to have a '95 grand am se 2 door, but i had to go through 3 engines because the rod bearings kept breaking and just spinning, causing the pistons to slap against the head, never buy a gm car with a 2.3, just a lot of trouble and plain junk, the 2.4's and 3.1's like mine are the way to go. Im looking into buying my brothers '99 grand prix gtp here soon. But hey i have some questions to ask you bout my grand am if you dont mind...
