hey thanks for the comment, the sas wasnt too bad...but i real alot about it. if your thinkin about doin it pineys sas thread on trs is very helpful. measure alot and measure well hah. And as usual, theres always alot more work that you arent expecting. all in all though, its relatively straight forward if you know how to build suspensions.

Badass ranger, and definitely not one I'd like to see coming at me on a dark street. As far as engine mods to a V8 mountaineer, it all depends on how much you want to spend and how down and dirty into the engine you want to get. The cam in the 5.0 is mild at best, the stock air intake is restrictive, as are the exhaust system. Tackle the last two first, then put in a new cam and then some in the engine if you really want to wake it up. Thanks for the comments Jeff.

looks great! how do you like the 5.0? I'm looking at doing a 302 swap in the future. Tire wise you could probably fit some 33's on it. That'd help you out a ton off road. Nice looking rig man.

I got them from the dealership in Pueblo. I dont know if my dad got a discount on them or not but I think we paid like 12 bucks or so a piece. I will ask him and see if 20.25 is high or if he got a discount.

hey man thanks for checkin out the truck. i've done a lot more since but kindof got lazy on cardomain. As for four-wheeling places in colorado. I used to live in a small town, elizabeth if you know where it is, and some of the pictures are taken there on friends land. We also used to just drive around and find places but almost got in some trouble doin that. But i would sudjest doing some trail rides over the summer they are a blast. You can go to 4x4trails.net and you can find all the trails everywhere in the U.S. on that. Like the truck and hope you find some places to go and have a blast four-wheelin.

Let me know when you guys are planning to go wheelin. I will find out when we are going to go and let you know as well. I got my emblems through Ford. My dad works at a dealership and just ordered them through the parts department. I think they are like 12 bucks a piece. So if you want some, just hit up a dealership near you and they can get them for you.

Thanks for the post. My house is in Pueblo, and I am just going to school up here in Denver now. The place I took all those pictures is in Pueblo-- PMI. It is mainly for motorcycles and atv's but we take our trucks out there sometimes. It is nothing great, but we have some fun out there. Are there any good trails up here toward Denver in the Mountains? I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can take it up. Nice pics.
