Hey, thanks for checking out my rides. That Starchief is fantastic. What a ride to have in Sweden! My dad's got a '65 Lemans, I wish I could say it was currently running. Have fun with it!

I like your attitude! Build them to cruise and injoy, not becouse its some ultra low production... thats going to bring alot to the auction block. Keep Cruisin!!

Carrie, the Star Chief Executive is a step up from the Catalina and a step down from the Bonneville. 1966 was the ONLY year for the Star Chief Executive. For 1965 it was just the Star Chief and for 1967 it was just the Executive and the Star Chief name was gone forever. The Star Chief is actually built on a Bonneville platform, but with most Catalina options. From Pontiac researc: "The Pontiac Executives featured much of the same equipment as the Catalina with the exception of a few more amenities, deluxe trim, and a longer wheelbase and overall length."

Okay!!! Now my curiosity is kickin in!!! What is the difference between a Starchief and a Catalina? Have any ideas? Is it size or package options? I know the Bonneville is larger than our Catalina, but what is the difference between OUR cars? I hope you are having as much fun with yours as we are with ours!!! Keep the shiny side up, and good luck in your restoration, you already have a very nice start. Hope you like what we have done to ours.

Thanks for taking time to stop in and look my "Toys" over. A friend has a '65 or '66 Pontiac similar to yours. His has a lot of power accessories on it. Next time I see him I'll ask for any information he may have and pass it along to you. If he has a computer, I'll see if I can persuade him to contact you? Later. RJ
